Management Accountant (CIMA/ACCA Part Qualified)

Howarth Morris are currently recruiting for a Part Qualified Management Accountant to join the Group Head Office of a leading Engineering Business based in the Warrington area. Reporting to the Group Management Accountant, duties will include:

* Completing the Financial Close and Reporting Process at month and year end

* Financial Reporting - Detailed financial performance commentaries explaining variances from budget/contract and movement towards forecasts

* Ensuring the integrity of financial results, including process, review and challenge of reported results, accruals/journals

* Assisting in the preparation of financial budgets, forecasts and long-term business plans as required

* Working with budget managers / contract managers / quantity surveyors / credit controller as necessary to ensure the timely and accurate application for payment, client billing and follow-up

* Balance sheet - monthly reconciliation of balance sheet control accounts, investigating and resolving any un-reconciled differences as necessary

* Cash & working capital - full understanding and control of the cash and working capital aspects of the business
