Project Manager

My client is a highly regarded, international manufacturing & distribution business with its UK Head Office in Liverpool.

Due to continued revenue and profit growth, an exciting, newly created opportunity has arisen for an outstanding commercial finance professional to support the continued development of the finance function.

Reporting to the UK Finance Director you will have a real variety of duties. These will range from standard, periodic management reporting duties through to a broad range of commercially relevant projects covering a range of areas including operations, procurement and finance.

The successful candidate will be technically competent, commercially bright and have good academics. You will have outstanding excel skills and good MRP/ERP systems experience. It is likely your grounding will be in a commercial accounting arena with a broad exposure to operational issues. Your attitude, work ethic and communication skills are key and we are looking for someone with the drive and determination to develop with the business.

Your development opportunities will be excellent but you will also be expected to show desire and commitment to the business and your career as this is a management role in the truest sense.

Candidates who have a foundation in finance but have developed that with commercial / project management experience will be of particular interest.
